Privacy Policy

Kultalk gives you a virtual phone number for calling and texting. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have. Kultalk is operated by Kultalk Ltd. (we, us, orKultalk).

Account information. The email address and password you use to sign in, and your Google sign-in identifier if you use Google.

Virtual number and usage data. The virtual numbers assigned to your account, the numbers you call or text, call durations, message timestamps, and call status. This data is needed to provide the service and show you your history.

Payment information. We use Stripe to process payments. Kultalk does not store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We keep records of what you purchased and when, for billing and support.

Device and usage data. Limited device information to keep the service working and secure, such as browser type and approximate location derived from your number.

To provide and maintain your virtual number, connect and route calls, deliver text messages, process payments, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations as a communications provider.

Telecom providers. We share the minimum data needed to connect your calls and texts through our carrier partners (for example Twilio), such as the numbers dialed and call routing information.

Payment processor. Stripe receives the data needed to charge your card and handle disputes.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kultalk, our users, or the public.

As a telecommunications service, Kultalk may be required by law to retain certain call records. We retain usage records for as long as needed to operate the service, handle billing and disputes, and comply with legal retention requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

You can view and manage your account information in the app. You may close your account at any time, which cancels subscriptions and stops future charges. Certain records may be retained where required by law.

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, and limit access to staff who need it to run the service. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information.

Kultalk is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us so we can remove the account.
